L.P.G REDUCER TYPE E 
This forms the 'heart of the system'. The main function of the pressure reducer is to convert liquid state LPG to gaseous state, which is further mixed with air and then fed to the engine for combustion. Stargas's Pressure Reducer is made of cast aluminum body which ensures quality and durability. Moreover the water - LPG separation existing inside the chamber is by using cast aluminum wall, whereas in case of many other kits it is being used - a diaphragm which gets ruptured as the time passes by, thus causing trouble to the entire conversion system. The reduction in pressure that takes place in 1st stage chamber (pressure reduction to 0.65 bar) involves a considerable reduction in temperature. The heat necessary to gasify the L.P.G is provided by hot water from the engine cooling system, which circulates in the pressure reducer-vaporizer. The pressure reducer is installed solidly to the bodywork in the engine compartment.
